1. add more detail to descriptions showing more about the technical side of what the photographer intentions etc are.use annotation sheet 2. be more creative with final piece, so images are less similar to the artists. 3. if using a quotation put it in quotation marks, so examiner can see my personal meanings 4. dont use columns to lay it out-can get messy 5. talk about depth of field and iso used to take different pics (technique) 6. upgrade and complete analysis of history 7.
14/12/17 Visit the thames south bank or near the Tate modern and go down onto the beach and under the bridges to photograph close ups of decay and dereliction that happens. Take close up and far away images look at the work of yr 13 student and look at the way she has photographed the location
Consider the idea of dereliction this links into the work you have been looking at as up to know you have been looking at nature encroaching on the man made environment. When this happens the environments tend to be derelict or left to decay. The ides of a place being left for nature to take over is interesting and visually engaging. look at the work of Colin winterbottom,Tim Suess and Aaron siskand in terms of their close up shots of decay and dereliction.
Upload images taken in mile end and use these as a platform for developing the project in this new direction.
15/11/17 Look at the work of Catherine Christofis and her A406 series develop further the idea of nature reclaiming the urban enviroment. Visit different location where this is apparent. Parkland walk the dissused staion at highgate Look at the work of Stephen Gill hackney flowers. This body of work saw him travel round his urban environment and where he found flowers he picked them and then pressed them into the image.
